Bowman Lake

Bowman lake is an easy, bumpy, un-maintained service road. Airing down is not required but may help for comfort. 4×4 is not required when dry. The occasional van or sedan attempt this road. At the end of the road is a beautiful lake where you can swim, kayak, camp and fish. The lake is popular on weekends with locals and tourists but there are plenty of camping sites as you drive around the lake. Once you pass the lake, the road continues on toward Sawmill lake. Here the road gets a bit bumper but still easy enough. Sawmill lake is quieter but less options for camping. If you’re looking for some good views, easy driving and a beautiful lake, look no further. Keep in mind this is dispersed camping, there are no facilities.

It is recommended that you leave the same way you came in. As always, cool your ash and pack your trash! Remember that terrain is always subject to change, pay attention to weather conditions and do not drive on the road when its covered in snow as it is closed. You camp at your own risk, TrailView Expeditions is not responsible for your safety or choices that you make while adventuring.

Attached is a link to OnX Off-road app for the trail. I highly recommend downloading the OnX Off-Road app on your phone for free!
