Noonchester Mine Trail

Going up the trail, you will climb up to 7500’ elevation. There are a couple of rocks about 12” tall that you can navigate around. Frequent pull-outs are available. Stay on the trail and tread lightly! This is a great spot to catch the sunrise over Lake Tahoe or there are several mountain biking trails in the area such as “sunrise” to choose from! Great spot to go up, hike, bike, enjoy lunch and the views and then head back down. There are caged up mines in the area that you can hike too as well. Please note this trail is muddy when wet. During the winter months it is closed due to snow. If you encounter snow on the trail, do not drive through it.

Attached is a link to OnX Off-road app for the trail. I highly recommend downloading the OnX Off-Road app on your phone for free!
